Noerrebro, Copenhagen apartment

Refurbishment of a 37m2 studio in Copenhagen in a building from 1902. As prices are rapidly climbing in this central hip area, the challenge was to make a 2 bedroom apartment - out of the original 1 bedroom studio. Without static changes, the new distribution makes it possible to have a bathroom with daylight, a kitchen in connection to the living room and a separate bedroom. Divisions are solved with sliding doors. An opaque glass from the kitchen to the bedroom brightens up the back of both rooms and serves as backsplash for the kitchen. All elements in this house are carefully designed and made to make the most out of this small dimensions.
