Røldal 

Competition in Røldal, Norway, for a new building: a visitors building in connection with the oldest wodden Stavechurch in the world. Inspiration was taken from the church itself; massiv wood elements was proposed, covered with an insulated concrete roof covering the whole lenght of the building. The carvings seen inside the church was proposed as CNC-ingraved motifs inside the visitors center. A mourning room was placed in the lower part of the building with seperate entrance from the church.
