Invited competition to extend Alvar Aalto's building. The main building had to be refurbished and the Carrara marble changed. The proposal was to extend minimally under the elevated main building, instead of making an additional construction on the side. The proposal was not visible in the initial design and carried out with the same materials and motifs as Aalto himself used.
